NEWS UK application service provider (ASP), Netstore, has recorded a rise in yearly turnover, from £0.8m to £1.4m. The company gave the reason for the rise as an increase in active users from 8,484 to 17,198 - above expectation. Earlier this month, Netstore closed a deal to provide its back-up service through ISP, BT Connect. The company floated in April, peaking at 140p in July, but suffered a severe fall in share price by the end of that month. However the price rallied during the second week in August, closing at 132p last Friday. The shares had already gained 2p on the news of the rise in revenues by 08:30 this morning.
