Brocade clinches EC SAN deal

Storage company Brocade has made a deal with the Council of Europe to install storage area network equipment.

NEWS The SAN equipment is based on Brocades Silkworm 2800 fibre channel fabric switches. The council said it expects to need more than two terabytes of storage capacity by 2002. Hewlett Packard's integration partner Alpha-PIB will implement the SAN technology for the Council. The European Council consists of 2,000 members from 43 member states involved with objectives of human right and European law
