NEWS The move is believed to be a warm up to the introduction of the 1.3GHz desktop version of Athlon, due for release at the CeBIT show to be held in Germany later this month. On Monday, Intel cut its processor prices in a bid to ramp up sales of the recently released Pentium 4 processor. In addition to the price drop on the budget-conscious Celeron processor, Pentium 4 prices dropped four per cent and Pentium III dropped 11 per cent.
