Sun serves Kodak a little more SAP

Kodak has signed a $200m deal with Sun Microsystems to use its servers and storage technology to power its enterprise resource planning and info imaging operations.

NEWS The five-year contract will build on an existing collaboration and see Kodak expand its infrastructure by adding to the 100TB of Sun StorEdge, giving it the potential to reach 500TB. Bob Ansaldi, manager of Kodak's ERP technical architecture organisation, acknowledged the role Sun played with the implementation of it's SAP systems in the past and said the new deal will help it meet performance goals.
