NEWS Data storage firm Iomega has unveiled its latest network attached storage (NAS) drives.
All drives come with synchronisation software that Iomega claims is unique because it allows backups for specific drives to be scheduled across a network at set times for different users' computers.
The Utah-based firm claims future software versions will include advanced scheduling features, virus scanning facilities, NAS box virtualisation and support for networks that don't use Microsoft's Active Directory feature.
The drives, announced at PC Expo held in New York this week, are based around Maxtor technology, and will retail in 160GB and 320GB capacities from $3,299.
