NEWS Ebusiness platform provider Iona has announced positive preliminary results for its third quarter, up $1.1m on the same period last year. The company said it expects to report revenues of $41m, compared to last year's third quarter results of $39.9m. Based on those expectations, the company project a pro forma net loss for the quarter of $2.2m or $0.08 per share, excluding previously announced amortisation of goodwill, purchased intangible assets, restructuring charges, ongoing R&D, stock compensation and associated tax effects. The company suffered post-11 September but its CEO Barry Morris said: "Our customers are returning back to business and I remain confident in our prospects."
