NEWS Compaq has revealed its new slimline PC due for release early next year. The Evo D500 Ultra-slim Desktop is designed to fit nicely into the parameters of a monitor base. It's 75 per cent smaller than the average PC, weighing just over eleven pounds. Compaq is claiming that this PC is the first desktop to have integrated wireless connectivity, which is enabled through Compaq's Multiport technology. This technology means that users can connect to multiple wireless standards by changing the wireless module on the PC.
