The smaller the better in this case...

NEWS Search engines will be allowed to display small 'thumbnail' images on their sites following a court ruling in the US. The US Court of Appeal has decided that search engines should be allowed to display thumbnail photos but not full-sized images of copyrighted works. The case arose when an American photographer claimed the search engine Arriba violated his copyright by displaying his full-size photographs without permission. The popular search engine Google has also been testing the use of thumbnails of web pages next to search results. The highly popular search engine has been experimenting with the pages using test groups, as reported by silicon.com last year. Google has yet to decide whether to rollout the feature.
