.Net eases the plight of poorly elks

NEWS Microsoft's New Visual Studio .Net software is already being put to good use tracing disease in herds of elks in the US. The brand new developers toolkit, premiered across the world yesterday, has been used to build an XML web service allowing the Colorado Department of Agriculture to collect and distribute information about the problem elks online. The application is accessible through any standard internet browser, and according to Compuware, the firm that has built the tool, can integrate easily into the department existing applications. Elks in Colorado are suffering from a chronic wasting disease that is threatening the population.
