IBM takes the axe to 'under-qualified' workforce

If you've not got the skills then you've not got a job...

NEWS IBM is sacking 600 support engineers from its Global Services Division in the US. The majority of staff losing their jobs are currently involved with helping customers with software installation problems or other technical queries related to IBM products. IBM said it is planning to get rid of all of "under-qualified" staff first, according to US reports.
