NEWS Microsoft has released another collection of Windows 2000 bug fixes to improve the software's security and comply with recent US Department of Justice antitrust settlement conditions. Windows Service Pack 3 includes all the latest security updates introduced since Microsoft boss Bill Gates ordered a revisit to the security of all the company's products. The update also offers a middleware control as specified by the antitrust settlement to enable users to use alternatives to Internet Explorer, Outlook Express and Windows Media Player. The control sets the alternatives up as default.
