Apple, the company that helped popularise the mouse, gives more powers to its newest device, Mighty Mouse. The key feature is the Scroll Ball, which allows 360-degree movement with just one finger. Touch-sensitive technology under the top shell detects where you're clicking.

It is a bit difficult to judge the size of it, i am guessing that it is about the size of a house brick - Ideal for the ladies, insert into handbag for self defence!!!
Other than a useful self defence tool looks like a waste of world resources and money. what is wrong with a £5 Dabs Value 2 button + scroll wheel optical mouse, it will do exactly the same job and the money saved will keep you in beer (or alcopops if you use a mac) for a week.

Never used one then have you Boris?
Also, PC-compatible!

Apple who? Oh yes, I remember them - they had the world at their feet but kept it all to themselves. This mouse should be good for Doctors 'cos it's going to produce oodles of RSI work for them!

Nice improvement. But the "Buttons on either side" caption is just not true. Your reviewer obviously did not have one in his/her hand. It is still a one button (the whole top surface) mouse... with the cool new scroll button added. (Those small panels on either side are stationary grip surfaces for thumb and finger.) I have one here in my hand.
Your nice (Evolution of the mouse) photo also missed the Apple wireless (Bluetooth) mouse... but it was a very nice photo!
