The CUER team, seen here, has been monitoring and analysing the solar power consumption and mechanical performance of Affinity using mobile workstations, handhelds and business notebooks provided by HP, which is sponsoring the team.
Before setting off, CUER modelled the massive range of minute design variations that will affect the car's performance and analysed it against external factors such as weather and road conditions.

To go to Cape Town from the Victoria Falls you do not and cannot go through Zambia.
You either go through Zimbabawe to South Africa, or through Zimbabwe and Botswana through to South Africa.
