What is it:
First second-gen projector with JVC's wire-grid tech
Price:
£3,400
We like:
Incredible contrast performance; exceptional sharpness; decent design; runs very quietly; excellent standard-def performance
We don't like:
Lack of colour-management features; colours could be richer; no D-Sub PC or 12V trigger jacks
The judgement:
JVC's DLA-HD350 improves even further on the remarkable black-level achievements of the ground-breaking DLA-HD1. If you couple that with the HD350's extreme sharpness and better brightness, you end up with a projector that - although not perfect, and short of a feature or two - is a great buy

Erm, £3400! Isn't that quite a lot for a projector? Leaves the gadget category and enters the "You could buy a car for that" one.
