The official release of Windows 7 last week has seen the debut of a slew of hardware sporting the OS.
New touchscreen desktop panels and laptops designed to take advantage of Windows 7's touch-sensitive capabilities have appeared, while existing netbooks and laptops have also been kitted out with the OS to get a performance boost from its more modest system requirements compared to Vista.
In the run up to Christmas, PC World will be stocking about 30 new models of netbooks, desktops and touchscreen desktops running Windows 7.
Here's a selection of the Windows 7 machines that went on sale at PC World's Tottenham Court Road store in London on Thursday to coincide with the OS' official launch.
The above PC is a touchscreen all-in-one computer produced by Acer, where the computer is built into the back of the monitor.
It comes with a copy of the Windows 7 Home Premium edition and packs an Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 processor and 4GB of memory. The screen above shows the Acer Touch Portal, a virtual desktop that users can navigate by touch.
The shot below shows how users can use the machine's touch interface to explore the world using Microsoft's Virtual Earth app.
