In brief: Lattice builds European research centre

NEWS Lattice Semiconductor is to build its first European research and design centre in Bristol, UK. The facility will open at the beginning of next year and will focus on the development of deep sub-micron integrated circuits to be used with Lattice's in-system programmable product families. The company claims Bristol provides the business support and educational excellence it requires, enabling it to work with the best engineers in the UK.
