In brief: IBM helps DCS to double profits

By Julian Goldsmith, 4 September 1998 13:06

NEWS Software and services company, DCS Group, has returned strong financial results for the first half of 1998. The company reported a pre-tax profit of £3.5m, an increase of 50 per cent. Turnover also nearly doubled to £46.5m. The leap was due in part to a change in the way its main supplier, IBM, accounts for its sales. DCS specialises in the distribution and car dealership sectors.
