NEWS Hewlett-Packard (HP) has lost a $6.4m case brought by a former business partner. Colossal Graphics claimed HP had agreed to promote its bulk ink feeder for large format printers, but then started selling its own product instead. According to US reports, the company's owner, Ron Jones, said he was forced to sack his staff as his business dried up. He now sells edible marshmallow images of celebrities including Monica Lewinsky and Bill Clinton. HP is considering whether to appeal.
