NEWS JetFax has launched a Web site offering free Internet-fax services to users. After registering at www.efax.com, users receive a fax number that can route faxes to their email account. The cost of the service will be met by advertising in the form of banner ads on the digital and paper faxes - when a digital fax is opened from the site four hot-linked advertisements will appear. The fax services company will face competition from fax4free.com, which is launching its own Web service on 17 February.
