Ericsson unveils macho mobile

NEWS Ericsson has launched a new water, dust and shock-resistant mobile phone. Designed for use in tough environments, the R250 PRO is sealed with Gore-Tex membranes and rubber gaskets, and features a special locking device to ensure the phone stays intact should it be dropped. Other features include speakerphone, data/fax capabilities, and a 'built-in vibrating alert', according to the company. The model will be available in the third quarter of this year, in orange and green.
