Symbian takes Java on board

NEWS The Symbian alliance is to add Java to its Psion-based Epoc operating system. The agreement is a boost for Sun and its attempts to get Java used in more devices. Symbian - made up of Ericsson, Motorola, Nokia and Psion - is working on what it describes as the 'next generation' of mobile devices. The first products are expected later this year.
