Orange trials mobile ticket sales at Edinburgh Festival

NEWS Nokia and Orange are trialling their first Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) handsets at this month's Edinburgh Fringe festival. Orange-haired girls are persuading theatregoers to order tickets online via the Nokia 7110e handset, rather than queue outside popular venues. Nokia and Orange plan to expand their Mobile Media service next year to include accommodation services. The Nokia 7110e, when it eventually launches, will display news, traffic and holiday information from a range of content providers.
