NEWS People love Hewlett-Packard (HP) even if they think they love Epson, according to an HP survey The survey asked users in France, Germany and the UK to set aside their own printers to test an HP DeskJet 970Cxi and an Epson Stylus 900C for ten days. At the end of the test, users were allowed to keep their favourite machine. Eighty-five per cent of those surveyed chose the HP model. Of these, 77 per cent were the Epson users in the test. Users were asked to carry out ten tests from a CD as well as use the machines for any other general printing they wanted. The survey involved 360 people and took place in August of this year.
