Mobile users face radiation threat from hands-free kits

By Aled Herbert, 4 April 2000 12:12

NEWS Mobile users have been hit by a report that claims that hands-free kits channel three times as much radiation into users than normal phone use. The report, commissioned by the Consumers Association, was published by Which? and is based on tests carried out on two hands-free sets from Carphone Warehouse and BT Cellnet. Both companies have refuted the report and claim the findings contradict their own research into the associated risks.
