NEWS First Choice Holidays has replaced its X.25 network with a Virtual Private Network (VPN) from systems integrator Sirocom linking 59 resort sites worldwide. The network is based on Sirocom's eVPN solution, which provides an encrypted link between each site over the internet, eliminating the need for leased lines. The system is based on Cisco's VPN hardware with UUNETacting as the ISP.
