NEWS Dutch software company Getronics will have to look to France and Germany to expand its operations. Cees Van Luijk, CEO of Getronics, said his company could not reach its full potential unless it acquired organisations over the next few years. Van Luijk said: "We cannot expect to be much longer under critical mass." However, he said the problem with trying to acquire businesses in Germany was that many offered regional as opposed to national coverage; while in France the high valuations of companies would make acquisitions expensive. Getronics is also looking to expand its UK operations, but according to Van Luijk, the software market is weak and unpredictable at the moment.
