Motorola to invest £20m in Scottish jobs

NEWS Motorola has pledged to invest £20m in a technology centre in Livingston, Scotland. The centre will be used to develop software and semiconductor technology for the mobile communications market. The venture will build on Motorola's commitment to Scotland, creating 550 jobs in the area over the next five years. With an existing workforce of 6,500 in the area, the company is already the region's largest employer.
