NEWS The power saving Crusoe chip manufactured by Transmeta will feature in the latest ultra-slim laptop from Sony, which will be released next month. Having decided to drop Intel and go with the hyped microprocessor, the Viao PictureBook will be the first line of laptops that features the chip. The PictureBook notebook is priced at $2,299 and includes 128MB of memory.
