NEWS An industry survey conducted by UK publishing house Visiongain claims wireless LAN technology will be embraced most markedly in the laptop sector. The research also predicts 40,000 US cellular handsets will contain Bluetooth technology, with uptake greater in European markets. Momentum behind the much-hyped technology continues to grow, aided by the 2,000 plus developing companies now affiliated with the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG).
