Window of opportunity for mobile users on Austrian trains

Encouraging people to use their mobile phones on trains? Somebody is going to regret this decision...

NEWS New windows are to be installed into Austrian trains to enable passengers to use their mobile phones. The original windows do not allow a signal outside major stations because they contain a thin, almost transparent layer of metal used for insulation. Robert Struger, head of the passenger services division said, in order to satisfy the needs of passengers, it will pay the £5,000 per carriage charge necessary to change all the windows.
