Text messages for the blind

You don't have to have 20:20 vision to annoy people on a train...

NEWS Italian Mobile Phone company TIM has developed a system that allows blind people to send and receive text messages. A software program on the phones translates the text message into a voice mail. It also allows users to dictate text messages. It was developed in association with Italy's National Association for the Blind, and will be supplied for free, according to Ananova.
