Orange users left in limbo by system crash

Orange systems down once again...

NEWS Orange's round-the-clock instant handset replacement service has crashed following some repairs on the server supporting the warehouse, a spokeswoman from the company stated. The telco said in a statement: "We can confirm that following planned upgrade and maintenance work on one of our systems supporting our Banbury warehouse facility and some internal business processes, we are not able to provide our normal 24-hour handset replacement service." A contracting company is blamed for the fault that has been causing problems since yesterday. Orange's technicians and the contractor are attempting to restore the service within the next 12 hours so do not lose your phone until at least the weekend.
