Orange cements top spot with 30 per cent growth

Sales boom for mobile giant...

NEWS The UK's largest mobile phone operator Orange has reported that sales have jumped by almost 30 per cent so far this year. Sales in the third quarter rose from E3.14bn (£1.96bn) to E3.91bn (£2.44bn). The mobile service provider said its average revenue per user per year in the UK has risen from E237 (£148) to E249 (£155) sequentially. Orange shares gained 2.5 per cent yesterday in anticipation of the announcement.
