Snook finally cuts ties with Orange

Future's not so bright...

NEWS Hans Snook is set to terminate his last remaining role at Orange, severing all ties with the company he turned into a major player in European mobile telecoms. Snook stepped down from his position as chief executive earlier this year when the firm was sold to France Telecom, but remained at the firm as a special advisor to oversee the integration between the two companies. But now that position will also come to an end for Snook, with him finally leaving the company at the end of December. According to the Financial Times, he is expected to pursue his interests in medicine and healthcare in the new year.
