Handspring receives $10m investment

A very expensive Christmas gift...

NEWS Wireless technology giant Qualcomm is to invest $10m in PDA manufacturer Handspring in an all-stock deal. The investment came as Handspring announced that it will issue seven million extra shares in a bid to raise $38.5m. Qualcomm will receive over 1.8m of the newly issued shares in exchange for its investment.
