mmO2 head over heels about Handspring

MP3 hold music? You got it...

NEWS mmO2, the former mobile subsidiary of BT, is expected to announce a collaboration with PDA specialist Handspring today to run its services over the handheld computer maker's wireless devices. mmO2 will distribute Handspring's Treo, with the first units in the shops by the spring. The deal comes hot on the heels of a similar venture with Research In Motion's Blackberry portable email device. The announcement is further proof that mmO2 is pulling away from its European rivals in integrating mobile services with the latest generation of small form factor mobile computing devices.
