NEWS Motorola and Nokia have begun legal action against the Turkish owners of mobile phone operator Telsim over outstanding debts and an alleged attempt to defraud. Motorola and Nokia are claiming a combined sum in the region of $3bn. In the lawsuit filed in New York yesterday, the two mobile phone giants claim the Uzan family attempted to defraud them by failing to repay loans and by diverting funds away from the mobile phone business into other family ventures.
