Virgin Mobile tots up 1.5 million customers

It welcomes customers rivals don't want...

NEWS Virgin Mobile has reached the 1.5million subscriber mark. The operator has ascribed the growth to demand for prepay phones. The news comes as other mobile operators are beginning to eschew low-cost mobile users in favour of getting more revenue from each existing customer. Rival operators Vodafone and Orange are expected to announce slowing growth in customer numbers later today.
