NEWS Sky Television has apologised to viewers after a new premium rate telephone service advertising mobile ring tones put callers through to a porn line. The service, launched yesterday, allowed Sky Interactive viewers to call a number and preview mobile ring tones before ordering off the TV. But several hours into business the service was suspended after Sky was informed that the number advertised rang through to a porn line. A spokesman for Sky blamed the slip up on an "administrative error", but stressed that the company had had "no complaints from customers". Sky apologised for any offence caused. The service has now been restored with the correct number.
