Life is tweet for Nokia users

Thirty-eight birds in the mobile are worth two in the bush...

NEWS Nokia mobile phone users can now celebrate the impending arrival of spring in some style by downloading a range of birdcall ringtones. There are 38 chirpy tunes available from the RSPB's website, including the calls of the blackbird and song thrush, and even those of the more exotic Arctic tern and rough-legged buzzard. You can even have your phone issue forth the warblings of the Great Tit and the Chiffchaff, should the mood take you. The RSPB has worked with Mobile Avenue to produce the selection of ringtones, which are available from http://www.rspb.org.uk/rspb.asp . You can also sample the calls - which have a distinctly electronic feel to them - before downloading them.
