T-Mobile faces third delay

German mobile operator may miss floatation date. Again...

NEWS Deutsche Telekom is contemplating delaying the flotation of its mobile phone business for a third time as it seeks a favourable economic environment. The German telco's most recent estimates set the floatation date for T-Mobile for either June or November this year. However, CEO Ron Sommer hinted that neither of these times might prove to be suitable. "We prepare thoroughly to be able to float on either date but we cannot rule out that it will happen on either date," Sommer was quoted as saying in the WSJ. "We still have time to make the decision but this is not a matter of life and death anyway."
