NEWS Japanese mobile phone operator, J-Phone is today launching its mobile email video service to customers. It's called 'movie shamail' and lets users email short video clips that have been taken using a camera inserted into a phone, according to reports in the Financial Times. The service follows J-Phone's 'shamail' service which enables still photos to be emailed. It's proved to be extremely popular with Japanese consumers and has provided a much-needed boost to the company's subscriber figures in the past months. J-Phone claims that as much as one third of all new phones sold in Japanese are 'shamail'-enabled.
