NEWS The entry of NTT DoCoMo's i-mode service into Europe through partner operator KPN Mobile has led Toshiba to start supplying its TS21i GPRS i-mode phone to the continent. KPN Mobile will use the Toshiba handsets, which the Japanese manufacturer claims have "a contemporary European design". KPN Mobile, along with its subsidiaries in Belgium and Germany, will be the first European operator to use i-mode, the proprietary service which has attracted over 30 million users in Japan in just over two years.
