Psion boosted by Samsung's Symbian deal

Bad day yesterday - good day today. It's swing's and roundabouts...

NEWS Psion has received a boost after the bad news of yesterday's results with Korean electronics giant Samsung signing up for the Symbian operating system for its next generation of mobile phones. Symbian beat of competition from Microsoft to secure the deal with Samsung, which is the world's fourth largest mobile phone handset manufacturer. The deal will help Psion, Symbian's major shareholder, recover some of its losses.
