Apple unveils new goodies in Tokyo

Screens very, very big in Japan...

NEWS Apple has taken the wraps off a 23-inch flat screen monitor and a revamped iPod MP3 player at it the Tokyo MacWorld Expo. Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced both products in his keynote speech. The 23-inch Cinema Display has a high-definition 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and costs £2599. It replaces the company's slightly smaller 22-inch model. The iPod is now available in two configurations. The new model features a 10GB hard drive, a graphic equaliser and contact management software. The unit costs £429. The company's entry-level 5GB model is still available.
