US boffins to paint PC screens onto any surface

NEWS Scientists in the US say they have invented a new form of polymer paint that could be used to "paint" computer screens onto any surface. According to the EE Times, researchers at the University of Arizona have pioneered a technique that allows them to use inkjet cartridges to print circuit boards or even computer displays onto flexible surfaces. The boffins have designed polymer-based electro-optic ink which allows them to describe circuits and images based on the chemical reactions between the different compounds in the paints.
