Siemens strikes 3G deal with Motorola

Merely a reseller of handsets?

NEWS Siemens has revealed it will license mobile phone technology from Motorola in order to offer 3G handsets this year. Beyond this simple re-badging exercise, the German equipment maker said it will also use Motorola's i.300 platform to develop its own handsets for 2004. Financial terms of the arrangement have not been disclosed but it is a major win for Motorola, the world's second largest handset producer. The move is bound to lead to more speculation over possible consolidation in the nascent 3G handset market. Siemens previously partnered with Japan's Toshiba but, unlike the Sony Ericsson arrangement, that relationship recently dissolved.

Hello my name is Rollie Hill; I am in charge of the Sound & Video at Cape Breton Christian Fellowship Church. We as a church bought six Motorola T5725 with Mice and ear peaces we use them to talk to our camera operators to tell them what shot we want next.
What I want to know is there a adaptor jack we can get so we can plug a regular set of headphones in (they do not need the mice) the T5725 so the camera operators can get a better sound to take direction. The earpieces on the mice are not loud enough for what we are doing.
