Boost for next version of Windows Media Player

NEWS The future of Windows Media Player could be brighter following a deal its creator, Microsoft, has struck with two leading graphics chips companies. ATI Technologies and Nvidia are expected to announce they will configure future products to work with upcoming Windows Media Player releases more efficiently, reports today's Wall Street Journal Europe. The next version of the Microsoft software is codenamed Corona.
