NEWS Fast-food giant McDonald's is teaming up with Softbank to offer broadband, wireless internet access from its restaurants, just in time for the World Cup. Trials start this month at 20 sites. The aim is to target the ten cities hosting World Cup games first, according to Japanese reports. The service, which uses the 802.11b standard, will be free for the first six months.
