Deutsche Telekom rules out mobile float

Or so we think...

NEWS Deutsche Telekom has apparently ruled out floating mobile arm T-Mobile in the near future because it sees no improvement in the market this year. A report in the Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper cites sources close to the board as saying that the German telco has put its flotation plans on ice as it does not expect sentiment towards the telecoms sector to improve until 2003. Last week Deutsche Telekom's share price hit an all-time low.
